ECO:nomics is the The Wall Street Journal’s executive conference on the business of the environment, held annually in Santa Barbara, California. Modern Media helped the Journal to create ECO:nomics in 2008. We have provided full planning, editorial support, marketing, operations and on-site production services for the event each year since. The Wall Street Journal Data Transparency Weekend

In producing The Data Transparency Weekend, The Wall Street Journal sought to promote tools that let people see and control their personal data online. The event was an outgrowth of the Journal‘s “What They Know” series, which documented the tracking of data. Attendees–programmers and developers with engineering, product-development, user-experience or technical research backgrounds–formed teams to work on free Web tools that promote data transparency. The Economist Innovation Awards and Summit

Some of the most celebrated scientists, entrepreneurs and thinkers in the world travel to London each year to The Economist Innovation Awards and Summit. Modern Media helped create the Innovation Awards program in 2002 and handles both the judging by an international panel of 30 judges and the gala black-tie awards dinner, held in The Science Museum in London. InformationWeek is the largest media brand for business technology decision makers, and has always been an innovator when it comes to embracing new technologies. BizBash IdeaFest Attendee Marketing Campaign

BizBash is the leading media brand for meeting and events planners, and it produces a series of conferences and expos filled with inspiration and educational experiences for planners. For its June 2012 LA event, Modern Media created an email marketing strategy that used marketing automation software to deliver targeted follow-up emails to prospects who had indicated interest by clicking on specific areas of the site.
